Strollin' With The Stars - Denvention

stusegalOne of the things we did this year at WorldCon was to help organize morning Strolls that everyone could participate in.
And 187 fans showed up to stroll with us!

That's right - 187 fans strolled with us over the four days.

frankwu, then with the help of stephenhsegal we invited a number of well known Authors, Artists and Editors to join us for the strolls which were, as observed by capybaron, similar to the peripatetic schools of the Greek philosophers.
We were joined on the strolls by Lou Anders, David Brin, Paul Cornell, Ellen Datlow,scottedelman, Joe & Gay Haldeman, maryrobinette Kowal, jaylake, John Picacio, Lawrence M Schoen, Stephen H. Segal and frankwu.
Below are some photos - unfortunately only about half the folks are in the photos as we took them at the end of each stroll, and many people had wandered off to breakfast, panels, etc.

Date: 2008-08-15 12:54 am (UTC)I'm sure we'll see each other again - - the stuff I do every year is WorldCon, Westminster Kennel Club Show and a bunch of concerts and motorcycle events . . . and also some occasional SF Cons or events in/around NYC. Rarely the left coast.
But we are planning Montreal, Melbourne, etc. See you in Montreal?
