i joined twitter because my disabled sister wanted me to do so. i tweet at her a couple of times a day. she's online most of the day because it is her lifeline to the world. i'm online most of the day because i work at a computer for long periods.
what got me was that within 24 hours of joining twitter i had followers - some unknown to me - who wanted to listen to me say "i'm in the office this morning", "lunch time, think i'll have a BLT", or "the tomatoes in the back yard are coming up just fine".
you want to hear about lunch and the tomatoes? i'm "memorman" on twitter. or, of course, you could just get some therapy.
